Brice Aggregates Welcomes Buyers to Needingworth Quarry Open Day

Brice Aggregates recently hosted a successful Buyers Open Day at Needingworth Quarry, welcoming valued customers to see first hand the scale of operations and the investment being made in new facilities.

The event provided an opportunity for buyers to explore the new Ready-Mix Concrete Plant, meet the Brice team, and gain insight into the processes behind the high quality aggregates we supply. It also highlighted Brice Aggregates’ ongoing commitment to efficient operations.

With tours provided in partnership with Liebherr, their expertise and support allowed visitors to experience the technology and processes that underpin the plant, showcasing how modern equipment is helping to deliver reliability, efficiency, and consistent quality across our operations.

The day concluded with plenty of discussion, networking, and a shared sense of enthusiasm about the opportunities ahead. Brice Aggregates would like to thank all buyers who attended and contributed to the success of the event.

As the business continues to grow, events like this remain an important way to strengthen relationships and ensure our customers have confidence in the people, processes, and products that power their projects.

Brice Aggregates at Bauma 2025: Exploring Innovation at the Heart of the Industry

This April, Brice Aggregates was proud to attend Bauma 2025 in Munich – the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles, and construction equipment.

More than just a trade show, Bauma is the heartbeat of the industry. It is an international success engine, innovation driver, and global marketplace for many organisations across the world. Held from April 7th – 13th, the event united construction professionals and innovators from across the globe to share ideas, discover new technologies, and shape the future of the industry.

One of the standout highlights for Brice Aggregates was visiting the impressive Liebherr exhibition stand, which spanned over 14,000 m² and featured more than 70 cutting-edge exhibits. Under the theme “Hands on the Future,” Liebherr showcased a range of groundbreaking advancements in construction machinery, from zero-emission equipment and autonomous solutions to advanced digital control systems and sustainable concrete technologies.

As part of this visit, Brice Aggregates is excited to announce an expansion of its fleet, with the purchase of a new Mobilmix 2.5 concrete mixing plant. This investment reflects Brice Aggregates’ continued growth and commitment to quality, efficiency, and sustainability. In addition to the Mobilmix 2.5, Brice also placed an order for 10 new Liebherr HTM 905 truck mixers.

These additions will complement Brice’s existing Liebherr equipment, which includes a Mobilmix plant installed in 2020 and a fleet of HTM 905 truck mixers already operating from the company’s flagship site at Colemans Quarry in Witham, Essex.

An attendee from Brice Aggregates said of the experience:

“Liebherr’s stand at Bauma is mind-blowing. The sheer scale and range of equipment on display is incredible. They sure know how to show their products off and entertain their customers. It’s been amazing to be invited over and attend. Thank you, Liebherr, for your hospitality – a trip we will remember for many years.”

Bauma 2025 provided Brice Aggregates not just with insight, but inspiration, and the chance to further strengthen its long-standing relationship with Liebherr UK. The knowledge and connections gained at the event will support the company’s ongoing investment in innovation and operational excellence across all its projects.

Brice Aggregates Becomes First Sponsor of NFEST25

Following our acquisition of Needingworth Quarry in May 2024, one of the largest quarries in the country, we are excited to support this cherished local event as we continue to strengthen our ties with the community. As newcomers to the area, we see this sponsorship as a wonderful opportunity to give back to the village that has warmly welcomed them.

Since its inception in 1995, NFEST has become a highlight on Needingworth’s social calendar. This year, the festival will take place from Saturday, July 5th to Sunday, July 6th, at the Needingworth Village Hall and Playing Fields. The weekend will feature live music performances, a diverse selection of real ales, community stalls, and a wide variety of delicious local food and beverages.

Oliver Brice, Managing Director of Brice Aggregates, shared his excitement, stating: “As we approach our first anniversary of operating the Needingworth Quarry, we’re thrilled to further strengthen our relationship with the local community. The warm reception we’ve received from Needingworth residents has been incredibly encouraging, and we’re honoured to support such an important event for the village.”
