Following a 9 month period of construction and development, today marks the first day of sand and gravel production and sales from Colemans Quarry, Witham. Works have included the installation of accesses and other site infrastructure, a best in class Terex washplant, and the opening of excavations. Commenting on the milestone, Chairman Simon Brice said “today represents a great occasion for the business and the culmination of a three year process to secure planning permission and develop the site. I look forward to building on this milestone and providing much needed new supplies of sand and gravel into the marketplace”
